The mother of a female child currently receiving instruction through St. Joseph's EIP has reported significant developmental benefit from in-home sessions and also from participation in our Aquatic Therapy sessions. The child, Lily, is visually impaired, has Cerebral Palsy and has also been diagnosed with developmental delays. Her mother, Tiffany, was the special guest speaker at St. Joseph's 125th Anniversary reception in October. Speaking before a full audience, she said, "The aqua therapy has been particularly helpful for Lily. She is better able to hold her head up and her body is more flexible during and after therapy. The therapy has a calming effect on her and she is aware and engaged with the other children in the pool."
